As you can get it relatively early, there are advantage to the weapons. Bound bow has the highest dps (damage vs draw speed) and comes with 100 free Daedric arrows. Which makes it the best for non sneak archery. A Bound Sword will do as much damage as an (untempered) Orcish Sword. If you take the Mystic Binding perk, it will do as much as a Daedric Sword.
