Doesn't looks like a lot has changed but another 2-3 weeks and it should have most of the changes done except paint. vn800 classic carb problem. for some reason my bike keeps dumping fuel out the side of my carb after it's been shut off witch inturn runs down the coolant pipe going to the crankcase and seeping fuel into the case. I have taken the carb apart at least 4 times and checked everything over. Float is sitting right where it should be.Plug the EPA Gold valve or bypass hose back onto the nipples in the valve covers. Route the coolant overflow tube back up to the thermostat housing and connect. Now move to the right side of the bike and route the carb float bowl vent tube, fuel tank vent tube(s) and speedometer cable back into position and connect.Vulcan 800 Starting System Problem ... The connections for the turn signals/running lights are inside the headlight bucket, the rear turn signals connect to connectors that resides in the front of the tool box (under the seat). A quick check is to remove the cable from the hub and spin with your fingers while looking for movement on the speedo needle. If it moves, your problem is in the hub. If it dont move, it may be you cable.

The 1st couple years of the Vulcan 800s, the used different ratios for 1st and 2nd, resulting in a 46 tooth rear sprocket, these use a longer chain, the 114 links.
