I have an 07 Accord EX-L. About a month ago it suddenly starting dumping *hot* air (not ambient temperature) on the driver side while the passenger side blew ice cold (yes, I checked to make sure dual zone wasn’t turned on). Some factors which might set my case apart: 1. The problem went away after about an hour of highway driving.SOURCE: 2005 Chevy Impala driver's side heat blows cold. The dealership wants $ 2150 to fix it but there's no parts available until mid of august 2019.The problem is your Driver's Air mix control motor. If the "Heater Control Valve" is stuck open, both side would've been blowing hot. You can try disconnecting the connector to the motor and plugging it back.
