Make a save Disable a small group of mods(5-6ish?), load in and test If still crashing, disable another group Repeat until it doesn't crash Enable all your other mods except the group that caused the crashing to stop to make sure, test again If it doesn't crash, you've narrowed it down to that group Enable each mod in that group one at a time until it crashes Boom, you've found the problem.
Yes, I always mine it for the iron ore. Have Faendal stay in Riverwood holding the ore for me, then come back for it later once I have the transmute mineral ore spell.
