Difference between pf63 and pf63e
I thought the PF63 and PF63E had different bypass pressure ratings, with the PF63 around 15 and PF63E around 22. If that's still the case, my 4.3 Silverado calls for the PF63E and I wouldn't use a PF63 instead to avoid bypass events and lower differential pressures.From reading old posts, several years back when the 8th generation Impala first came out, the filter to use was the PF64. It's difficult to get authoritative information on oem efficiency. One difference is the ACDelco PF63e uses a separate poppet type dome bypass.
