The computer does shut down (power button goes off, the computer goes quiet). But then the orange light (some people call it amber) INSIDE the computer, that is always on when the computer is on, does not go off. It just stays on (solid, not blinking). To turn the light off, based on suggestions on Google, I unplug the PC.When I plug in the charging cord, a white stable light is shown initially, but then it goes off. After 2 or 3 seconds, there are 4 patterns of white and orange light blinking. Below are the light blinking patterns that continues in a loop with a 2 or 3 seconds gap: 1. White and orange. 2. White and orange and white. 3. Orange and white.
