Dex weapons can be extremely good. In fact, the Rapier and it's replacement in Drangleic are IMO the best overall weapons in the game. An upgraded Rapier can easily carry you far into the lategame. It's my go to for most quick runs through the game. They just might not be suitable for your playstyle. MID-GAME. Chaos Blade - If you can hold 10 soft humanity this is arguably the best PvE and PvP pure dex weapon in the game. IMO, it is in the pure dex PvE top tier along with only the Uchi, Great Scythe and Painting Guardian Sword. Painting Guardian Sword - Short range, but great attack rating for its swing speed. 3. Moonlight Greatsword. A legendary ultra greatsword, the Moonlight GS launches energy waves with strong attacks. Its hefty Intelligence scaling and magic damage complement Strength builds nicely.
