I really want to avoid taking it to the dealer and I came across a potential 'fix' that involves changing the brake light switch.The GMC Acadia Service Traction Control warning light is a yellow or amber light that appears on the dashboard of your GMC Acadia. Oct 5, 2011 · Bought it with 49,000 miles 1 year ago and now has 63,000 miles. I change oil every 3500 miles using Mobile 1 Full Syn. Only problems proir to this is Map Disc and a Low Tire. About every 1 out of 5 times the car is started we get - Stabilitrak / Service Brake System - warning on data center for the past week and a half.The check engine light came on throwing code p0305 which is a misfire in cylinder 5. So we replaced plugs, wires and coils on all 8 Cyl. Now it will run fibne for a few days then start to misfire again and the following service messages popped up: Stabilitrak off, traction control off, service stabilitrack, service traction control.First-generation GMC Terrain (2010-2014 model years) The first generation of GMC Terrain was in production from 2010 to 2017 and it’s the more problematic generation out of the two.
